Tiwi

We drove down to Tiwi today to see what our schools will look like in four years. It was a great drive down with lots going on in the bus! (see pic) The kids did a short program for us with drama and songs. They were amazing! We spent the afternoon playing and talking to the kids about how being able to go to school has changed there life. It was really cool to talk to the 8th graders about what they want to be later on in life. In Kenya you have to take a test after 8th grade to try and get in to high school.

After leaving the school we went to the wood carving shop on the way home and spent 3hr shopping wow does this team ever know how to shop! Longest trip in the 5 years of the FRCC trips. The way home was vary quiet between the kids and the shopping today the team was warn out! (see pic)

Tomorrow is our last day with the kids in our centers- could you please pray for us as we say goodbye to a lot of amazing kids and our friends. I know it's going to be a hard day of working in the community and then on top of that saying goodbye- it's going to be a long day. Thank you for checking in on us to see how we are doing!
