Bomani

Today was another great day at Bomani! It all started at the free school seeing how the teacher deal with having 50+ kids in a class room. We (FRCC) were able to give the school some new desks for the students to help get more of them off of the floor. There are still so many needs we pray that God will allow us to continue serving and helping them.

The best part of the day was our time with the kids at lunch! We got to help the kids wash there hands and then serve them lunch! We ate the same food as the kids did today and one of the guys said it was the best food he has had! To think that these kids came from not having much food to getting healthy meals every day is an amazing gift that will forever change them.

That afternoon was filled with playing in the rain, singing songs, volleyball, taking pictures and just having fun with the kids! At the end of the day I think most of us had two kids we wanted to bring home with us! The kids will just come up to you and grab your hand just to hold it and be loved by you. God really did use us today to be know by love!
Tomorrow we will be doing our fist day of activities with the kids. Please pray that as we go back that he will use us to shine a light for Him. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day for jet-leg so please pray that God will help us get the rest we need to serve the Kenya people!
